Frog Fencing

Australia has a diverse range of amphibians many of which are living in habitats close to either construction or roadways. Frogs of all types are renowned for having very poor road sense and are also usually oblivious to the need for them to stay away from construction machinery.

With this in mind, Advanced Environmental Services has taken it upon itself to become Australia’s leading installer of a specific type of Fauna Fence known as Frog Fencing.

Victoria’s Growling Grass Frog and Queensland’s Fleay’s Frog and Giant Barred Frog among others are endangered species and need our protection to avoid extinction.

Specific frogs need specifically designed and installed fences to keep them safely in or out of areas to avoid exposure to potential harm. We have installed countless kilometres of Frog Fence in SE Qld and the greater Melbourne region over the years with this mission in mind.

Whilst the frog species is the primary concern, costly construction delays triggered by frogs not being adequately contained or excluded are a knock on risk for contractors.

Having this risk minimised or even better eliminated early in the civil construction phase by the installation of effective Frog Fences is the optimal means of staying ahead of the game. The site EMP should identify any endangered species which may be present in the area.

The Advanced Environmental Services estimating team offer our clients a complimentary EMP analysis service and plan take off from which a comprehensive quotation is then tailored to suit your needs and budget should Frog Fencing be a requirement on your site.
